So if your just tuning in to this ongoing challenge between me and daronline this may confuse you. Every Friday we are to write an entry about a secret of ours. My secret is that I LOVE children, but HATE them in stores, like walmart and target for example. Ya I know, not exactly a juicy secret or anything, but an experience today reminded me of this. See I’ve always loved children, I think they are great and they seem to really like me too…we just get along. I even almost based my career off of children being a prenatal nurse….but lately I’ve been thinking maybe I don’t like them as much as I thought I did. I think about all these situations where I just want to pull my hair out and take the liberty of disciplining some persons kid for them. Then it occurred to me every time I felt this way it was while shopping in a supermarket or store. Is it just me or is every kid in walmart the spawn of satan?! I go to walmart and I can’t walk five steps without being run into by a kid or I can’t think of what I need to get because they are whining about all the shit they NEED…I NEED THIS! I NEED THAT! you know what I mean. Then I leave the store and go out to dinner and there is a cute kid looking at me and I can’t help but think how much I love kids…weird huh. I think the problem with the walmart kids has to do with the parents for the majority of the time. I mean, I know sometimes there is just that bratty kid that you really can’t do anything with and the parent is honestly trying, but sometimes you just see these parents you let their kid do whatever they please, and those are the kids I just want to SMACK. I just want to smack them and their parents, tell the kids to listen and tell the parents to pay attention to JR, aka spawn of satan.
