so right now im in houston. staying with the family during memorial day weekend. so it turns out my mom is making jewelry now as a hobby/side job…its kinda funny. last time i was here she bought some beads just like 20 dollars worth or so and took a couple classes….now i come home and she has a couple hundred dollars worth of beads and wires and stones and all these professional things and goes to classes to learn all these different techniques like 3 days a week at the least. she actually is making some nice stuff though. shes going to sell them at the heights first saturday art thing where you sell your art to people. it has all different kinds of art like jewelry, photography, paintings, metal work, pretty much anything. i’m supposed to sell some of my photography there this summer too. i’m also doing some hemp jewelry because i noticed someone was selling a lot of hemp stuff last time i was there and everyone was buying it. so i got some cool beads and stuff too and hopefully i’ll make some more money from that too. well im in houston until monday, and tuesday i start my first day at my new job. hopefully that will work out well. i dont have much else to say right now so later.

from the homefront
almost done
So tomorrow is my last final, Italian Renaissance Art History….ive been having trouble studying for it. Its almost 2 am and my final is at 2 pm tomorrow…ill probably start studying for it at 11 or so lol. anyways after that tomorrow i will be done with school until summer session one starts in early june. thank god because i need a break. Im also starting my new job in the art building sometime soon…but hopefully not for a couple weeks or so. well i added some photography to my photography wordpress…its in the blog roll if ya want to check it out, its under TAYLORBLAINE…im going to try and add some old and new stuff at least once a week but who knows how that will work out, especially considering this is my first wordpress since may 2. that is it for now, just wanted to leave a quick note…
ok so i was bored and was listening to my itunes, which is what i typically do when im bored…and i came across the song American Pie by don mclean….so i listened to it because i like that song and like what its about and such…then i remembered madonna did a cover version of it so i went to youtube to watch it. Well ya see… normally im all for cover songs and such, but sometimes it just shouldnt be done, and this is one song that should never be redone, especially by madonna. she destroyed this song in my opinion. and what the hell is up with her dancing in the video….she does those same dance moves in everything she does, and all it is is stupid swaying moves. but anyways here is the video, its just so ridiculus…
oh ya..a little bit of info…rupert everett (actor, the gay friend in my best friends wedding and the guy who does the voice for prince charming in shrek) is the backup voice during the song…just listen carefully…i found that interesting.
