ok so i love this song by tom petty called into the great wide open…ive seen the video before and knew of one camio in it but i didnt realize how many celebrities were in it…some famous then and some who were just starting out. take a look and see if you can spot all the camios….
so the most random things make me happy. a lot of the time when im bored and want to watch somthing that will lift my spirits i go to youtube for inspiration lol. i never realized how much time i spend on youtube until right now. anyways i’m just going to post some of my favorite youtube videos that make me laugh everytime i see them…some are just clips from movies and tv shows….but still, they are great!
ok so the office clips were a given…i love jim and dwight so pretty much any clip with them will make me happy. the dramatic chipmunk is so retarded that i laugh every time i see it. and the narcoleptic weiner dog is soooo cute..the poor thing! lol
so i was on a friends site where she put all these videos of how people have redone the song Puttin’ on the Ritz…well i gotta say…those may be swell and all..but i think this one takes the cake and will forever be my favorite.
ok so i’ve been wondering for a while now… why do people try to be something they’re not? why are some people so fake? it really annoys me. why do you have to find something wrong with yourself and change it for another’s benefit? what makes that other person so special in your eyes to where you feel your true self is not good enough for them, therefore you need to change it up a bit? its already a journey to find who you truly are…once you finally reach that point, why would you want to screw it up and try to change it? no matter how much you change your appearance, or past stories, or tweek your personality you are still going to be the same person. i’m not saying that if your a crack addict you will always be a crack addict or anything…but what i am saying, is that no matter how hard you try to change the core aspects of your personality, no matter how much you try and cover them up…you are still going to be that same person. so save yourself the trouble and just be simple you…not the complicated layered stories/personalities/lies you. seriously, i mean i have met some people who have been so fake and lied so much about their personality and life and stuff that it seems they even have forgotten who they truly are. they are just living in a complicated web of lies and get lost from time to time and give you multiple lies for one situation. i mean honestly, if your are gonna lie, which you shouldn’t, at least get it straight. just to be safe, don’t lie! be yourself. if i’m going to be your friend i want to know YOU, not the person you want to be…not the person you think I want you to be. so maybe this whole thing is confusing you a bit..maybe im ranting a tad, who knows. but i will leave you with this…yes its a bit cheesy …its a couple lines from a song i like and its about accepting the REAL you…

ok so i’ve been wanting a site for my photography, but due to lack of time i’m settling for a photography wordpress where i will post my new photos or art i may be working on. so anyways, i havnt added any work to it yet but just so you know it is www.taylorblaine.wordpress.com …it would have been to long to add photography in there so its just my name. its also listed in my blogroll so you click on that and you will get to it. anyways hope you enjoy whats to come! later
so the end of the year is approaching, and that being said means i have my final project for Adv. Photo II. instead of a portfolio which we usually do, we are doing an art book. we have to do either an accordian style or regular bound book and both have to be at least 20 pages long. we also have to come up with a concept…and i think i came up with mine. i came up with the concept of “Ladies Night”, and this is what it is about…you know when girls are like “ok we are gonna have a ladies night!” and they get all dressed up (even though they arnt even leaving the apartment) and make cute cocktails and take pictures like “look how sexy we are with are pretty fruity drinks!”…and then as the night progresses the drinks get stronger, there are more empty bottles of liquor, the girls start getting goofy, and by the time the night is over all the girls are passed out with smeared makeup and messed up hair. now my point is, if you act like that are you technically a “lady”? so my art book will show a basic story board of a “ladies night” progressing into an all out passed out trashed fiasco. as the pages lead to the next im going to have ladies night written non stop and as it reaches the end the “ladies” word will either lighten and blur out or get scratched out to prove my point. i think it sounds pretty cool, i just hope my teacher goes for it. and i hope i can pull it off, i want to do really good on it. it was kinda funny, i didnt have many liquor bottles, just a couple smirnoff ice bottles so i texted many of my friends and ended up taking all their bottles off of their hands lol. it pays off having friends that drink i guess lol
so i’m thinking about making a new wordpress in addition to this one that will be like my photography kinda site. since i really dont have the time to make a website or anything in the near future. i put a lot of my photography on my myspace already but i think i want a “just photography” kind of site. i need to think of a name though..hmmmm. oh ya, so do you like my new header…its a pic of me as a wee little girl..i likes it. oh well i really dont have much to say right now but i will leave you with my current favorite youtube video…its jared leto of course. it cracks me up everytime…just watch his facial expressions…priceless.
so i just got back from seeing the movie smart people…and let me just say it was pretty good. thomas hayden church is soooo funny in it and in itself is worth seeing the movie. the only thing that kept bugging me in the movie was how fat dennis quaid was looking and how annorexic ellen page looked…maybe not quite annorexic, maybe it was that she looked like she had the body of an eleven year old girl…anyways thats besides the point, it was a good movie and you should see it.
ya so the title of this blog is completely random and has nothin to do with the post…i just didnt know what to put because im not exactly talking about anything important lol. so i made a new header..again..and i think its pretty much awesome! i dunno maybe its just me. so today i did my project thats due in photo tomorrow, they sad thing is we had like a month to shoot for it, but i just put it off until tonight lol. even though the shots are awesome or anything, i still think i got some pretty cool ones…but that could just be me. i dont exactly know what the teacher wants but i never usually do so we will see how it turns out. anyways the purpose of the assignment was to not look through the eyepiece and just randomly snap the camera and stuff and see if you get anything interesting…so i just drove around town with my friends and just randomly shot stuff outside the window and stuff. i actually got some cool shots too. and i also got a lot of funny shots of people looking confused at hell from the flash that just hit them in the face by a car driving by lol. anyways here are a couple i took.
so ya there are a few i took today. i’ll try and post my photography stuff up here more often. usually i just put it all in my photography section of my myspace page. so if you want you can check it all out there. i have like 45 images or so on there from the 4 photo classes ive taken so far, some are really crappy though because they are scans or mess ups or damaged film and shit like that. well thats enough for now. later.

ya i know so its not the most intellectual quote ever…but sometimes i feel like that lol. It was said by edward norton’s character. it just cracks me up because he’s claiming he would shoot the pandas who wont reproduce to save the species…b/c you know shooting them would solve the problem. i just think its funny, it makes me laugh b/c i can see me saying it too lol. that is all.
