My current music playlist that i have been listening constantly. if you dont know the songs or the versions im talking about u should check them out.
1. Feeling Good – ok so i have like 8 versions of this song, but there are three that i really like and have been listening too constantly. so check out the versions by Nina Simone, Michael Buble, and Adam Lambert. I really like how they are all different. Although Simone and Bubles are a little bit more similar, but Lamberts version starts out similar and goes more rockish.
2. Mad World – ok so i always like Gary Jules version, but when i heard Adam Lambert sing it i was reintroduced and now i can stop listening to his version.
3. Rubberneckin (remastered) – lol ok so this is more random, its Elvis Presley’s song but remastered and pretty much makes me think of vegas every time i hear it. i walked in to my grandpa rockin out to it in his office and it made me laugh so now listening to it makes me really happy and kinda pumps me up…its a good mood booster song and makes you want to boogie lol.
4. Her Diamonds – latest song from Rob Thomas so its naturally in my list! his new cd is comin out in june and i cant wait! the song has a nice beat to it and as always has great lyrics.
5. Thats Not My Name – by The Ting Tings, once again…its another mood booster. nice and upbeat.
6. We Made You – beside the fact that Eminem is just good at what he does, this video just cracks me up. and its a great song to blast in the car.
7. Sex on Fire – by Kings of Leon, this song is just great. plain and simple.
8. Nothin Better to Do – by Leann Rimes…i like this video too, its cool and old school. but the song is really catchy. yes its country but it doesnt sound tooo country lol and it just has a good beat and everything.
9. Lovin Touchin Squeezin – Ahhh gotta love Journey…i have had this on my itunes for a while but it gets lost among the other ones but it came up in a shuffle and i cant get enough of it. its always been a fave. that goes for pretty much all of Journey songs though.
10. No Boundaries – Adam Lambert…ok so i pretty much downloaded all of his songs after american idol was over. i dont really watch american idol but i did see some of his performances and i really like him. hes a great performer and rocker. i really like this song.
11. Dane Cook ISolated INcident – ok so this entire cd is awesome. i love dane and cant get enough of him. he is a sexy BAMF too!
12. Loose Change – Andrew Peterson…in the song he is singing from the point of view of a penny lol. its awesome and mellow. its christian music, but not IM GONNA SHOVE CHRISTIANITY DOWN YOUR THROAT AND THEN LIFT MY HANDS UP TO GOD christian music…if you know what i mean.
13. Instant Pleasure – by Rufus Wainwright…yes its about sex. its a catchy song though. and i find the lyrics funny.
14. Details – by Robert Downy Jr…yes he sings…and he is awesome! actually every time i listen to this song i end up listening to the whole cd so we will just say THE FUTURIST by Robert Downey Jr. its an awesome cd. very jazzy lounge souding. very mellow. its nice to listen to as you relax or do hw or want to listen to music on your way to sleep. loves it.
there is probably some more but i cant think off the top of my mind. so if you want to hear some good music, download these songs if you havnt already bc they rock.
